This is my last watercolor painting for the year 2007 (I made only four paintings for the whole year). A friend requested me to paint any flower (color red) to be displayed on their living room. What I did was, copied a flower shot from my Romblon Gallery - bunch of flowers in our front yard in Romblon. The outcome was not as good as Mari and Ebb Tide’s still life paintings. I forgot the name of this flower. Can you please click Romblon Gallery and tell me this kind of flower? This flower has more than five (5) varieties of colors.

As you can observe on my other works, the subjects are usually abstracts - things that I encountered on my daily life.

Aside from jet skiing & sunset viewing, we also did island hopping.

Crystal Cove
*First stop, Crystal Cove - an island with two caves. Among the two, Cave 1 is the best as the boatmen says. I was not able to go down to Cave 2 because of high tide that time and my camera will be in trouble eventhough my backpack camera bag is water proof.

Last stop, I forgot the name of the island. I was a little bit tired that time so I did not took any photos. :( We just ate lunch and go back to our place.

At last got a chance to visit Boracay.

At Kalibo going to Caticlan seaport.

Meeting up with my childhood friend from US, L and her husband A and B2 from Australia.

I had a two (2) nights free room at Microtel Inn & Suites (located at station 1) courtesy of L & A while they stayed at Fairways & Bluewater Resort.

After two nights, I looked for another hotel to stay-in for two more nights. I contacted Lorenzo Resorts a resort owned by one of my relatives. Then another resort Acanthus Hotel managed by a friend of mine and classmate of my cousin way back from Romblon. Then, I decided to chose Acanthus Hotel (located at station 3 and a private one) for US$ 100/day (discounted price), with free breakfast. The water in station 3 is clearer than station 1 (where I noticed sea weeds on the surroundings). By the way, Lorenzo Resort is next to Acanthus Hotel. :)

When I visited my hometown, San Fernando, got no chance to roam around due to rainfall and my time was very limited because of other commitments.

Mt. Guiting-Guiting, Magdiwang, Romblon - shot taken while I was on board a Ro-Ro Ferry going to Batangas Port.

Please visit Milex for more informations about Romblon and how to get there.

Just want to share some of my SHOTS, mostly at the backyard. :)

I removed some France travel slides due to sluggishness of my site. If you want to view it again, please click THIS. Thanks again.

*Taking shots while aboard train… photo courtesy of novem..

*Late arrival in the train station of Nancy… reception at M. J.C. Etoile Hall w/ choir Croqu’ Notes (the group assisted us for the whole event.)

*Flags from participating countries - Germany, Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria,Finland, Lituania, Spain, Mongolia, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia & Sweden

*Our Mama Josephine preparing our first dinner. We (together w/ my buddy -Jonar) stayed at their house in Chavigny (outside Nancy) for 6 days. She’s an Italian married to a French man (Papa Joseph), she speaks a little bit of Spanish so we really never had a hard time on communication unlike our other choirmates whom their foster parents speak French language only hehehe… :) But sometimes, if she really don’t know how to explain… she showed us some photos of the things, for us to understand.

*Wheww… 1st she gave us biscuits and wine. My buddy told me, “I’m really hungry, I need real food.” After an hour or more, we are full already… no place for the food. Even if there’s no rice (can live w/o it), food is great. Later on we learned that she’s a cook in a restaurant before, a couturier now. Wine is prohibited that time but still I drink… not much… hmmm a bottle only :)

    *A view from living room… a foggy afternoon…

    *Country side… I really love the place…

Anong mangyayari?

Abangan sa susunod na kabanata… :)
