Ayan napag-isipan ko na ang tag ni katya. Ang hirap naman kasi kaya natagalan.

    Tag About Me…

I am thinking about ——–my future life.
    I said———————shut up and cool down. :)
I want——————-somebody to share, share the rest of my life, share my innermost thoughts, know my intimate details.
I miss——————-tuba sa niyog with fresh inihaw na galunggong as pulutan. :)
I wish——————-to go back in the 13th century, in the land of Italy, Venice or painting together with Michelangelo in Florence.
    I hear——————-sound of music, I love music.
    I wonder—————–how? I wonder why?
    I regret—————–regret, I hate this word.
I am———————son of my beloved mother.
I dance——————like Mr. Bean, to entertain my 4 little nephews. :)
I sing——————-in a bar, on stage when I’m under the influence of 12 bottles san mig light. :)
    I cry——————–when I got mad.
    I am———————friendly, cheerful and a nocturnal(kapag nasa pinas) person .
I make with my hands——touch everything that won’t break my hands… hold brushes, pencil, etc. especially my favorite toy. :)
I write—————–with my right hand, but starting to teach my left hand to do it also. Now, i can eat by using my left hand. :)
I confuse—————who my really friends are.
    I need——————-to be serious, sometimes.
I should—————–forgive the people who hurts me.
    I start——————working @ 7am.
    I finish—————–work @ 4pm, if there’s no overtime.

    Muli, ayaw kong mag-tag.

Hopeless
Hopeless
Watercolor on paper
16″x12″
Photographer: masterbetong

Five hours (for two nights plus five minutes for final coating) in the making. :)

“Hopeless” - A woman, represents our mother earth. Shows, dress getting more bulky and overlapping - that is the crisis she carries and encounters in everyday life. The background, supposed to be totally green but the air pollution (dark color) slowly destroying it.

Back view? For the reason that the problem is her face! hahaha… :) Joke

Seriously, she doesn’t want us to see her crying. :(

Save our mother!!!

Piece of Art
Gustav Klimt’s 1907 masterpiece, a portrait of Vienna aristocrat Adele Bloch-Bauer, was sold to cosmetics magnate Ronald S. Lauder (the heir to the Estee Lauder fortune) for $135 million the highest known price ever paid for a painting.

Purchased for the Neue Galerie in Manhattan Klimt’s portrait deposed Picasso’s 1905 “Boy With a Pipe” sold two years ago,in an auction at Sotheby’s for $104 million.

“It is a once-in-a-lifetime acquisition,” said Lauder, the founder of the Neue Galerie, a tiny Manhattan museum devoted entirely to German and Austrian art.

Klimt, an Austrian Symbolist painter, is known as one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Art Nouveau movement.

His major works include paintings, murals, sketches and other art objects. He’s primary subject is the female body, and his works are marked by a frank eroticism.

Art Nouveau - “An international style of decoration and architecture which developed in the 1880s and 1890s. The name derives from the Maison de l’Art Nouveau, an interior design gallery opened in Paris in 1896, but in fact the movement had different names throughout Europe. In Germany it was known as ‘Jugendstil’, from the magazine Diejugend (Youth) published from 1896; in Italy ‘Stile Liberty’ (after the London store, Liberty Style) or ‘Floreale’; in Spain ‘Modernista’, in Austria ‘Sezessionstil’ and, paradoxically, in France the English term ‘Modern Style’ was often used, emphasizing the English origins of the movement.

Bring me To Light
Bring me to light
Watercolor on Paper
12″x16″
2006

After spending 2 hours for 4 consecutive nights, my painting was completed just right for Father’s Day celebration.

“Bring me to Light” - a painting that shows a baby boy’s hand asking his father to take him to a better side of the world… free from violence, free from grimy environment and other awful deeds (shown in the right side of the painting). But how?

By the way, Happy Father’s Day to all tatays, lolos, titos.

12 pages watercolor paper, 3, brushes, 1 set tube watercolor paints, 1 pallete, 1 bottle spray for final coating

working with my 1st watercolor painting here in KSA Bring me to light
