Happy New Year to All! I’m really sorry guys for not visiting your blogs lately; kinda busy training my replacement on my job. After completing two years working in this company, I will leave the desert land again for the second time. My colleagues and friends were surprised but when I explained to them what will happens next, they wished me “Good luck and all the best!”
Meanwhile, just want to share another poem written almost a year ago. This was the time when I considered to stop blogging.
The Fall of Gentle Wind
At this moment, Zephyrtouch can’t keep on drifting
The west wind that never worn-out blowing
Even in winter or summer time he stands still
But in split seconds he feels ill
He’s now looking for an unruffled place
A place where he can take a profound breathe
To make his soul absolutely clean
Free from any wrongdoings or particular sin.
By gazing over a blue moon
He consider to look for an unknown lagoon
Bathe unclothed until his head submerge
Tasting the shallow salty water in his lips,
After being seized by melancholies
He will be residing in a blissful place
Righteous in every way
Anywhere, anytime and any day.
Then, he will continue to fly again
As a gentle wind blows in your chin
Whispering in your soft ear
Saying that he certainly defeated his own fear,
Halt! Back into reality
His life still looks unhealthy
We will just wait and see
What will happens next, come what may…

Kimverlie Molina - 2006 TFC Popstar Grand Champion

Another FilPop Talent

High school students shared an ethnic dance.

Oh before I forgot, the winner is…… contestant # 8… the crowd really enjoyed when she delivered a monologue as her talent… Someday, you guys will be seeing here my daughter photos ramping on stage also…
Please click THIS for more photos of the pageant.
We (together with 3 official photographers) encountered difficulties in shooting our subjects because of low lighting, spot light and the glittering outfits of the contestants. The result is… more over exposed photos. No enhancement done on my shots, cropping only.
To Master, thanks for the help.

Almost three (3) weeks since I had my last post. I’m so busy nowadays preparing many things that will change my life and career.
Besides I can’t upload photos to my gallery section. I already asked help from Master to fix the problem.
Meanwhile, I just want to share this poem written last February 2007. I was looking for few important files in my External HDD when I found this poem. Some of my friends read this poem already and now I dedicate this to all my blogger friends.
Friends
We meet friends in all places
Friends of different races
Friends that we’ve shared with laughter
Until our problems disappear
Friends that we’ve shared in pain
But made us glad when we’re in vain
Friends that truly listened to the thoughts we express
That even in our dreams they exists.
Along the way, we commit mistakes
Unnoticeably, we hurt others
To make it unfussy we say sorry
In order to move forward steadily
In this world, all things come to an end
Happy moments will be treasured
And poignant ones will be forgotten
Nothing will be kept even a single stain.

November 30, 2007 - again, organized by Saudi Arabia Hiligaynon Inc. (SAHI), the yearly event was a successful one. They invite Nyoy Volante and Blakdyak to be the guest performers from the Phillipines but unfortunately Blakdyak didn’t make it due to the late visa processing. Together with the local performers including us entertain the crowd.

Thursday night, Nyoy studying the song he will sing with us during our rehearsal…

While having a break, some choirmates pose with Nyoy for picture souvenir….

Friday, a pose with the group after the last rehearsal…

PNE on stage - rendered “Pasko na Sinta Ko” & “Manila”…

The crowd enjoyed pure pleasure with the acoustic repertoire of Nyoy…

Finale Acapella song - “Muntik ng Maabot ang Langit” - PNE & Nyoy

Dinner at Chili’s before Nyoy and Company’s departure…

Two weeks ago, our CHOIR sponsored a disco party for a cause. Same venue, same time, just like the previous disco last March 2007 Disco. For five (5) hours our Kababayans and other expats (locals were not allowed) brought home a smile on their face.

I got limited shots because my 28-210mm wide lens fell down when I was trying to change to the other lens.
After one day I was able to fixed the damage lock of the lens. Thank God it is still working right now.

This is my last watercolor painting for the year 2007 (I made only four paintings for the whole year). A friend requested me to paint any flower (color red) to be displayed on their living room. What I did was, copied a flower shot from my Romblon Gallery - bunch of flowers in our front yard in Romblon. The outcome was not as good as Mari and Ebb Tide’s still life paintings. I forgot the name of this flower. Can you please click Romblon Gallery and tell me this kind of flower? This flower has more than five (5) varieties of colors.
As you can observe on my other works, the subjects are usually abstracts - things that I encountered on my daily life.

New Creation
16″x 12″
Watercolor on Paper
2007
The painting [completed) 3 (three) weeks ago] shows a hand with a whole new world on HIS hand coming out from the blaze…This painting reflects my personal faith to GOD. HE took me out from the dark thoughts and opened my heart through HIS words. HE is truly a merciful and loving GOD.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
Wheeww, due to some commitments this year, this is just my third (3rd) painting for the year 2007. Unlike last year where I made 8 (eight) paintings plus 4 (four) pencil on paper sketches.
